HAVE A SUMMER OF ADVENTURE

...Photography adventure that is. Summer proves to be a struggle for college students. The freedom they once knew of endless whiskey cokes and not asking mom and dad to spend the night at a "friends" place has been replaced by endless requests to take your feet off the coffee table. I have always found my haven by my camera's side when returning home and instead of hiding behind it, I ventured out in front of the lens. Today, I whipped out my trusty Nikon D60 and went to work.

July is one of my favorite times of the year. The sun is shining and the lighting is perfect for photography adventures. Inspired by the fourth and a spark of my fraternal side, I decked out in my favorite colors and hit the fields around my new place. I messed around with the floating illusion, brought on by my brothers recent attempt but took a more patriotic aspect to the trick. I have to give credit to my dance background to enable me to bend without breaking again.

With the trips and fun ahead of me this summer, I am ecstatic to embark on more adventures. Although this was close to home, it got me out of the house on my day off from work. Get outside and feel the day this summer. Happy Fourth to all!
